OUR FOUNDER
HOUSE : LAW was founded by Daisy Dier James in 2020. Daisy is an Oxford University graduate and alumnus of Bird & Bird LLP, a firm renowned for its intellectual property expertise.
Daisy teams the knowledge and experience gained from practicing at a top tier international law firm with a commercially focused mindset and a true love of design to offer advice which is effective, cost-efficient and pragmatic.
Daisy is the primary Intellectual Property Consultant at HOUSE : LAW, advising clients on strategy and trade mark and design registration filings. She also acts as the first port of call for all clients and works with them to identify what additional services they require.
Daisy lives in Oxfordshire with her husband, three children and two dogs. She is passionate about finding ways for women to balance home and work life and hopes that HOUSE : LAW and HOUSE : STUDIO offer a home for women who are great at what they do but need or want a little bit more flexibilty.

HOUSE : LAW is a consultancy practice. It is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority as it is not required to be for the services we provide. In our work we do not act as solicitors.
